A rare example of late 19th century machine quilting! The quilting is done in a chain down the sashing and a double rod elsewhere. It is done in a brown cotton thread and a white cotton thread specific to each area. Foldover binding from back to front. The texture of this quilt is exceptional with very little sign of wear. Colors are rich and saturated.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFreshly washed\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCondition: Very good.
