Often referred to as the Star of Bethlehem, or more recently, the Lone Star. This quilt is expertly made with gorgeous, tiny hand quilting and a brilliant star that lies beautifully flat and perfect. The hand quilting is done in an outline within the boundaries of the star, in each diamond, and in a wreath motif in the white setting cloth. The quiltmaker shows off not only their skill at patchwork, but also with tiny, precise hand quilting.

Condition: Excellent, museum quality.
