1930’s Feed Sack Log Cabin/School House Quilt

From the family of a hardworking farmer, this sweet house quilt is machine stitched and hand quilted. The house blocks measure 12 x 13 inches each and are contracted of a variety of cottons indicative of the era. It has a wraparound binding from back to front, stitched by hand.

Freshly Washed 

Condition: Fair. This quilt is in good condition with the fading and dye transfer from the dark blue houses on the front and back of the quilt. Pale blue. 

Weight: Medium, very soft

Measures: 65 x 77 inches
