19th Century Antique Madder Quilt Top

A fragile, stunning, hand stitched piece for collection, study or salvage. The fabrics are incredible with many recognizable madder prints from the 1800s mixed with lots of special little period florals and leaves. Pops of mint and blue are so lovely! The stripes and circles madder fabric is extremely fragile and has shredded. Other blocks are quite sturdy. This is an crisp as the day it was pressed flat by the maker.
