19th Century Blue and White Antique Quilt

A wonderful, unique, 19th Century, hand stitched quilt with a charming swag border. Hand pieced and hand quilted. 

Note how narrow the blue strips are, and they are pieced, not applique... impressive design and workmanship. 

Condition: Fair to good, based on the color fade ans some residual spots post-cleaning. Freshly hand washed. The grey is a blue that faded out over time, leaving this striking two-tone effect. There are a few small scattered marks and one or two areas where the stitching has lifted on the swag border. 

Weight: Thin batting, medium weight overall.

Measures: 70 x 82 inches
