19th Century Green and White Lily Quilt

A stunning, large quilt from the mid + 19th century. It is hand pieced and beautifully hand quilted in a variety of patterns throughout with special attention paid to each separate area. The quilting is expertly executed and enhances the overall effect. The border is a strong trailing vine which reaches to all four corners of the quilt. There is a cloth label affixed to the back corner inscribed with a family name.

Freshly hand washed

Condition: Excellent, freshly soaked. Some small residual marks remain, as noted in the photos.
