19th Century Pink & Green Antique Rose Wreath Applique Quilt

Stunning!! Completely hand stitched, this 19th century quilt is a beauty. The applique stitching is small and precise and it's beautifully designed with varying floral themed blocks using early greens, pinks, blues and reds. There are some extraordinary little pieces of fabric used. There is some fabric loss on a few blocks, and loosening of certain leaves and petals where the applique gave way to age, as well as some minor, small, age related fade/yellow. Overall it is extremely clean and bright. 

This is freshly washed.
