Antique 19th Century Evening Star Quilt

A gorgeous Evening Star Quilt from the mid 1800s. This is hand pieced with so much wonderful "make-do" patchwork in the stars. The fabrics are a gorgeous mix of florals and other 19th century prints set into bright white cotton. It has a name label hand stitched on the back corner in blue. 

Freshly washed

Condition: 7 of the 56 blocks have some fabric loss, split or thinning. There are a few small mends to one star.  Over all the quilt is very bright, clean and sturdy.
