Antique 19th Century Red & Green Capital T Quilt

Circa 1890, hand pieced capital T blocks set by hand into the green and red sashing. Hand quilted in a double rod in the blocks and a crosshatch in the sashing. The binding is a newer replacement binding that has been machine applied. The backing is a thinned chocolate brown snowflake and dot print.

Condition: Fair. The front is in good condition, the backing has thinned considerably with batting showing in many places along the edges. Drapes and displays beautifully.
