Antique 9 Patch Quilt

A well-loved beauty! This 19th century quilt in a classic 9 patch boasts lots of really special and unique prints within the blocks. It has many signs of age, from the toasting of the white fabrics, to the fabric loss along the edges and the thinning of the back. It has been soaked out of necessity, and discoloration remains in the white squares from dye transfer. It is clean and freshly air dried. There are two slits to the body where it seems to have encountered something sharp in its lifetime which could be mended. An aged beauty with lovely fabrics to offer.
