Antique Album Block Quilt c1870

A gorgeous, hand pieced quilt with bold cheddar and ox blood sashing framed in a wonderful, wide, 6.5 inch printed border. The blocks themselves are a great mix of a pattern and color making this a lively, vibrant piece. It is hand quilted in a Baptist Fan throughout.

Condition: 3/20 blocks have some thinning, or areas where the center designs have dropped out. One or two nicks on the edges. Overall soft and sound, well kept.

Weight: Medium weight

Measures 69 x 80 inches

Please note that these are vintage and antique textiles, please read the descriptions carefully. I work hard to accurately describe and photograph any and all flaws.
