Antique Brickwork Shirting Quilt c1920

A wonderful, clean and soft handmade quilt from the early 1900s. The brick pattern is constructed using a variety of soft, pale shirting fabrics in light blues, pale pinks and greys. This is machine pieced and carefully hand quilted in a cross hatch pattern. It has an applied binding and beautiful striped, woven cotton backing. 

Condition: Excellent. Some wear to the binding and a some very slight yellowing to one area. Washed.
