Antique Cactus Basket Quilt c1890

A cheerful, colorful antique quilt from the late 1800s. The combination of pink and orange mixed with carefully chosen shirting fabrics makes for a joyful quilt. Machine pieced and hand quilted, it has a bold chrome orange border to frame. The hand quilting is done like a chevron.

Freshly hand washed 

Condition: Very good. One small block has fabric loss and there is some wear and tear to the upper edge/corner.
