Antique Evening Star Quilt c1900

A stunning, mint condition patchwork quilt in an Evening Star block. This quilt is circa 1890 - 1910, hand pieced (with some machine seams in the solid blocks) and hand quilted. The binding is finished by machine stitching. 

Each block is hand quilted separately, with different motifs for the pieced blocks and solid blocks. It is in gorgeous condition, never used, the fabrics are vibrant and crisp. This makes an excellent addition to any collection. 

Condition: Excellent. Never used, carefully stored. Some faint scattered storage marks as shown. One significant brown mark on the back. Note a little fray to a woven area of the brown check as shown. 

Weight: Thin batting, light to medium loft
