Antique Feathered Star Quilt

A true beauty! Freshly washed and air dried. In excellent condition, this hand pieced star quilt is gorgeous. The hand quilting, Wreath motif, is expertly stitched and the quilt is freshly washed. The reds did not run, but there is a faint cast to the white in certain light. This was originally all green and red but the quilter used a variety of green fabrics and as you can see, some were fast and some were not (they've faded to blues and deep greys). A gorgeous, collection-worthy piece.
