Antique Flower Basket Quilt

This quilt is well worn and has many imperfections. But wow is it PRETTY. What makes it special is it's patina, color and beauty. This uncommon basket applique in the most perfect, faded blue is absolutely wonderful. This is not a pattern found very often. The edges of the baskets, leaves and flowers have come loose in many places, but would be an easy mend if desired. The chrome orange centers on the flowers set the whole thing off. This displays beautifully and photographs very, very well. There are scattered tears and scattered tan marks that remain after its soak. The binding is also worn. It has been freshly washed and air dried.
