Antique Flying Geese Quilt, ca 1900

Hand pieced in a most desirable pattern. Rows of flying geese meeting at 8 point star intersections. This quilt is completely hand pieced and hand quilted and boasts unique edges that look to be original and intentional. Note the strip edging on the left, the white binding at top and bottom, and a knife edge on the right side. All seems to be original to the quilt (no trim down). There is one yellowed area toward the bottom and a few minor seam separations and some smudges to the backing. This is unsoaked. Over all this is a fantastic antique quilt.
