Antique Four Patch Quilt c1880

Hand pieced and hand quilted in the fourth quarter of the 19th century; this simple patchwork pattern is elevated by carefully chosen prints and earthy tones. The quilt displays beautifully and is set off by the wonderful blue binding. The backing is a narrow black and white stripe. 

Condition: Good. Displays beautifully. Some small splits to the sashing and some tiny holes as shown. 

Weight: Thin, summer weight, drapey
