Antique Jacob’s Ladder Quilt c1900

Hand pieced and hand quilted, this quilt has been well kept. Marked with a bright yellow, embroidered “W” in the upper left corner, the whole quilt is bound in a bright yellow goldenrod, hand applied binding. The blocks measure 4 x 4 inches and are composed of a gorgeous amount of late 19th century/ early 20th century fabrics. 

Condition: Excellent, near mint, some minor fading from sun exposure in a few places. There is a small amount of dye transfer on the white backing, likely from storage or washing.

Weight: Medium, very soft, great feel

Measures: 69 x 78 inches
