Antique Nine Patch Quilt c1880

A gorgeous antique quilt with nine patch blocks set into cinnamon pink calico. The blocks contain many special and beautiful fabric scraps from the 1800s. This is a great quilt for collection. It is hand pieced and hand quilted, the quilting done in both single and double rod motif. It has a WONDERFUL plaid backing, indigo and brown on white.

Condition: Very Good. Some storage stains. Unwashed to preserve the exceptional fabrics. Fresh aired. Overall gorgeous, great collection piece.
