Antique Patchwork Quilt

 This is a wonderful, 25 patch block quilt ca 1870 with deep madder red and warm, early greens. The wide sashing is a faded orange with small black and read floral figures. It is in good condition with some overall fading and wear the binding. The backing is a wonderful chocolate lattice print in very good shape. The black figures on the red squares have been lost due to dye techniques of the time period, so upon close inspection there is an eyelet effect. It is beautifully hand quilted and has a wonderful feel with beautiful drape.
