Antique Patchwork Quilt c1890

A stunning, late 19th century quilt in an unknown pattern (most similar to "Old Rugged Cross and/or "Kentucky Cross Roads" ) in rich, gorgeous colors. This is washed and soft, likely never used (no signs of wear anywhere). The deep indigo sashing paired with the chrome orange intersections makes it sing. The backing is plain, cotton feed sack cloth. 

It is hand pieced and hand quilted. The hand quilting looks as though it may have been done by a novice as the lines are not straight or even. It is in wonderful, clean and beautiful condition and beautiful to hold. The fabrics are bright and in such nice shape.
