Antique Patchwork Star Quilt

Circa 1920s quilt top with a newer backing, likely finished in the 30s or 40s with a thin blanket for batting. This quilt has been used a great deal and shows signs of wear. 

It is freshly hand washed, and after 2 days of soaking, some staining and graying of the white fabrics (especially the backing) remains. There is wear to the binding with some splitting along the bottom edge as well as some small seam separations. This makes a great display quilt.
