Antique Princess Feather Quilt ca 1890

A quilt that packs a punch with its bold color and swirling, graphic composition. This quilt is in excellent condition, never used, never wetted, still maintaining the original pencil guidelines the quilter used to hand stitch the quilting. One of the center stars was made with a fugitive red which has faded a bit, as have the green ( possibly blue) feathers. There are some scattered dots and tiny marks but nothing of real note. It lays perfectly flat on a wall or a bed and displays beautifully.
