Antique Purple Snowball Quilt

This 19th century patchwork quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted. It is freshly washed and air dried. It holds much of it's original purple, which is rare, but fading and thinning shows along the outer edges of the patchwork portion of the quilt. The border is a very pale pink and the backing a white with black pinstripe. 

Condition: Well-worn, thinning and outer fade as described above. Wear to binding and scattered yellow marks. Freshly hand washed and air dried.
