Hand Pieced Antique Rose of Sharon Quilt Top. Wow... An absolutely stunning antique Quilt top. This is completely hand pieced, even the roses and their chrome orange centers are pieced in (not applique). The colors are as vibrant and delicious as they look, this displays extremely well. Note the wonderful, white, windowpane, woven cotton used in a few of the blocks. There is a decent amount of sack cloth used as well. There are no holes or tears but a few distinct, brown marks from age. The edges have been finished under 1/8th inch to create a finished edge. A fabulous piece to enjoy as is atop a bed, hanging or draped.
