Antique Seven Sisters Patchwork Quilt

Late 19th Century patchwork quilt in a sought-after pattern called “Seven Sisters” represented by the seven little five-point stars inside the pieced hexagons. This is completely hand stitched, with black cotton thread used for the quilting. It is densely hand quilted giving it a soft, bouncy feel.

Condition: Fair. It has one small blue mend at the center in the front and several mends on the back. There is overall toning from age and dyes. Structurally very sound. Likely not used. No wear to edges. There are sleeves on the back for a display rod (for hanging). It displays beautifully.
