Antique Snowball Quilt c1890

A big, beautiful, patchwork quilt in a more rare snowball pattern, some.may consider it "Steeple Chase" or "Bows and Arrows". This quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted. It contains a ton of amazing 19th century fabrics from calicoes to novelty cretonne. The binding is done up in a print which is the icing on the cake!

Condition: Fair, it has been nicely kept over the past 130 +/- years but a few of the fabrics have succumbed to dye rot, a few of the patches are missing. There are some scattered marks, with one larger brown blotch in one particular area, but this quilt displays beautifully. Unwashed.
