Antique Tulip Quilt

Antique Tulip Quilt. A sweet, well-loved antique quilt in a Tulip block. The tulips are not applique, but rather pieced in to the setting. The crossing stems were then appliqued on and as you can see many of them have loosened. All stitching on the quilt is done by hand, from the piecing to the quiting and binding. The binding is a wonderful, faded stripe and floral. This has been hand washed, detergent free and some staining remains.
