Antique Tulip Quilt

A gorgeous, bold antique quilt in a turkey red applique Tulip pattern. This is completely hand stitched. It is densely and exquisitely hand quilted by a precise and expert hand. The leaf border frames it beautifully and the whole quilt sings with color. There is some over all fade to the greens and while the yellow front remains beautifully bright, the backing has faded a bit (possibly home dyed backing ). There are a few small, light grey marks on one edge as shown and one tiny tear to the turkey red outer border stripe. This is a stunning piece for display or over a bed. Does not show signs of use.
