Contemporary Completion of Antique Quilt Top with Border Addition

This stunning piece is an early 1900s top that was finished post 1960. The quilter did a gorgeous job and even added an attractive border with corresponding repro fabrics. This a great quilt for a bed. There is some water marking that was clearly on the top prior to completion and two tiny squares that have splits. It is otherwise in incredible shape. So, so many beautiful fabrics and prints in the patchwork! Indigo blue, madder prints, conversation prints, turkey reds and all kinds of beautiful calicos. The back is a bright clean white. Synthetic batting, great for a bed - wonderful size!
