Double Sided Hexagon Patchwork Quilt Remnant, ca 1890

A little Heartbreaker, this small remnant has been through it all.  It was washed and someone put it in the dryer. It is tattered and torn, has several large holes, but still holds together. It's comprised of tons of amazing and noteworthy little scraps from the mid 1800s and up, to probably 1890 or so. One side is small paper-pieced hexagons and the other side is your basic patchwork (probably constructed later than the hexagons). This is a very damaged piece that could be used for fabric study or to display folded.
