Fabulous Feed Sack Quilt Top, ca 1950

Feed Sack Quilt Top, ca 1950. Wow! What a fun piece! Machine stitched, the quilter took whole feed sacks and cut them diagonal, joining them all back together in this geometric, oversized X design to form a fun, floral quilt top. It's in really wonderful condition with one small smudge and one small hole. On the “pop” print ( looks like lollies and popsicles) there is some gray speckling that I dont think is part of the print but is present throughout.)Makes an amazing quilt backing!
