Hand Tied Vintage Basket Quilt

Great size! This is a really FUN quilt … A handmade quilt from circa 1930/40 with yellow hand ties. It is completely hand pieced, and the handles of the baskets are machine applique. There are tons of period prints and colors, including plain and printed feed sacks on both the front and the back. The effect is delightful. The longer tails on the yellow hand ties lend a playful air to the whole thing and a great textural aesthetic. 

The condition is fair. There are two baskets with missing patches but the rest is sturdy. It has some blue dye transfer in a few places from washing. 

Freshly hand washed.
