Indigo Antique Quilt, ca 1890

Indigo Antique Quilt, ca 1890. Hand pieced and hand quilted, this well loved quilt has had some gentle TLC. Circa 1890, it has gotten a new binding there is a little mend on the back. There are some thinned fabrics, most notably the brown polka dot triangles at the bottom edge. This has been cold-water soaked and air dried. It has some residual marks (pale gray). The backing is a thin, 19th Cent stripe. Just lovely, soft and clean.
