Log Cabin Quilt Top with Partial Backing Set, ca 1890

A wonderful, near mint, hand pieced, log cabin quilt top. While it is only a quilt top, it is accompanied by a section of backing possibly intended for it's completion. This comes as a set. They are both in excellent condition, the top has one large stain on the upper left likely from brown dye bleed.

Quilt back measures 57 x 86”
