Lone Star Quilt, c1940

Star struck! This Lone Star Quilt in pastels is the perfect spring quilt. Full of cheerful little florals, some feed sack and other. It is in good condition with some minor signs of wear in some of the diamonds, particularly the pale yellow floral which has thinned and a small surface tear in the pink as shown. The border really frames the star wonderfully.

Overall it's in great shape, it's a wonderful weight and displays beautifully. This is a great quilt for use, as it is a wonderful, large size. The backing is a buttery yellow with some minor fade at the center seam. Note the little yellowed area on the front in the white area.
