Mid 19th Century Irish Chain Quilt

A wonderful mid 1800s chain quilt, hand pieced and expertly hand quilted. The blocks are comprised of wonderful, pale, summery cotton prints. Note the sweet blues… The hand quilting is done in a triple rod and feathered vine. The binding is a wraparound from back to front.

Freshly hand washed 

Condition: Excellent. Freshly hand soaked, some pale marks remain, nothing of real note.

Quilting is superb.
