Mini Quilt, Rose Block

Hand pieced and hand quilted with varying shades of thread. The cheddar centers are the perfect pop. This may have been part of a larger quilt as some point, the binding is newer. The fabric has held up really well considering the type, tans of this nature tend to have deteriorated due to the dying processes in the 1800s. There is a small, dark threaded mend on the front and a few other spots of wear. The back shows signs of age and mending. 

Looks fabulous on the wall!
