Ms. Julia Root's Sampler Quilt

Hand pieced and hand tied quilt, mix of centuries from the 19th into the 20th. I believe it was completed and hand tied around 1940 with feed sack header and footer. The back is a solid and stunning chocolate/teal/red paisley in perfect condition (possibly French). It has a knife edge, machine stitched. Hand tied with white thread and multi colored wool yarn. Some small age spots. Overall excellent condition.
