Nine Patch Crib Quilt c1890

A late 19th century crib quilt in a nine patch block with border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. The quilting is very nicely done in wreath (setting blocks) and chevron (border). The quilt is constructed with mostly shirting and other clothing cottons.

Condition: Fair. Overall wear and tear from use, wear to the binding and some faded patches from contact with laundering solutions. Soft and sturdy.

Measures 42 x 60 inches
