Pennsylvania Style Antique Quilt

A dream of a quilt! Tempted to call this stunning 19th century quilt “reversible” as the Pennsylvania style bar backing is as delightful as the patchwork front. The colors are phenomenal, with soft hues and bolder punches of deep jewel tones set in Lancaster blue. The red calico binding is the icing on the cake

Condition: Good.  Some light yellow, slightly faded marks, possibly from water, in the lancaster blue sashing. There is some thinning to the chocolate browns and a little split on some small areas of binding. Overall beautiful, and so soft. 

Weight: Medium, soft, very drapey
