Pink and Green Lily Applique Quilt c1930

A wonderful 1930s applique quilt, completely hand stitched and freshly washed. 

Some residual yellowing remains, particularly along the left border. Otherwise it is sound and makes a lovely quilt for a bed. It is finished with a knife edge and there is a hand stitched, 2 inch rod pocket for hanging on the back. There are a few splits to the edges. Note also, some minor batting shift mostly on the edges and a few light gray smudges on the backing.
