Red, White, & Blue Antique Star Quilt

19th century hand pieced star quilt, a great example of a classic American patchwork quilt! The stars are completely hand pieced and then the blocks set by machine stitching. The hand quilting is done in a zig zag pattern. The binding wraps from back to front. The stars are set inot shirting cloth and the sashing a matching blue.

Freshly washed

Condition: Excellent. Freshly washed. Some minor fade from age.
