Set of 2, Vintage Inscribed & dated Applique Quilts, 1933

Set of Two Hand Stitched Vintage Quilts. Inscribed by embroidery with the quilter's name and date, these two vintage applique quilts are freshly soaked and dried flat. They are in fragile condition but display beautifully. They are IMPECCABLY hand quilted by a master quilter and carefully preserved by the family with a thin veil of tulle in certain areas to protect thinning fabric (white). The applique flowers are hand painted and carefully hand applied. Great for display or guest bed display. I have shown these last year but recently cleaned them, removing most of the yellowing before bringing them back to the table here.
