Square in a Square Vintage Quilt, ca 1930. Collector's quality, vintage patchwork quilt from the 1930s with lots of earlier fabrics.  Beautifully scrappy with the hundreds of little squares, three hundred and ninety nine to be exact! The smallest of squares in the most delightful Indigo, feed sack and clothing scraps. The border is a bold, red and yellow calico, half triangle border that frames the quilt in a strong way. Two tiny dark spots as shown. The binding is stitched by machine.  Bright, primary all-over floral backing. Clean, well stored.
