Stunning, Antique, Fussy Cut Log Cabin Quilt, ca 1870

Hand pieced and hand quilted, this Log cabin quilt is absolutely *chock full* of delicious antique fabrics. The quilter fussy cut many of the prints, carefully cutting and piecing along the design edges to keep flowers and other design elements intact. If you're an antique textile lover, or merely enjoy an exceptionally aesthetically pleasing quilt - this one's for you! It has many signs of age, loss of the chocolate browns (as is typical) and some lost fabrics here and there with one damaged block along the bottom edge. There are significant dye rings (where dark dyes migrated over the years through to the backing) on the backside. 

This has been washed (thoroughly soaked) and line dried.
