Tumbling Block Antique Quilt 

A beloved pattern, and as scrappy as ever. This well-loved, worn, antique quilt is FULL of amazing scraps. There are some indigo conversation prints with horse heads and another of the same with canine heads plus many, many other wonderful fabrics including some pops of green and chrome orange. It received a new backing (likely in the 1980s) in a sweet floral and it has been freshly soaked out of necessity prior to listing, then air dried. It does have fabric loss, with an average of 20 patches that have thinned out and show some batting. There are a few marks that did not soak out with regular soap and water. Overall it is an extremely charming quilt which offers delight in the scraps from corner to corner. A wonderful piece for display or study.
