Tumbling Block Quilt

Likely an early 20th century quilt, this wonderful tumbling block is machine pieced and hand quilted in an outline. The quilt top and binding is composed of nearly all wool. The border is carefully bound around the natural shape of the blocks in a stunning geometric effect. The backing is a bright, walnut brown woven, with a cream polka dot and linear design. This quilt displays beautifully and lays perfectly flat.

Condition: Near mint, no signs of use. A few pin pricks in some of the red and tan wools.
