Antique Lucky Star Quilt c1880

Circa 1860 to 1880, this stunning handmade quilt is in mint condition. Set in a double pink, or cinnamon, the pieced blocks are called “Lucky Star” (or sometimes “Four Winds”) and worked in quadrants. This quilt is never used, shows no signs of wear and the fabrics are in beautiful, bright condition. There are so many gorgeous prints from the second half of the 19th century and each block measures approximately 11 x 11.5 inches. The chrome yellow practically flows. It is completely hand stitched down to the quilting. 

Condition: Excellent, mint condition. A museum quality quilt. One small, pale tan mark in the upper left quarter in the pink.
